Congratulations! You’ve arrived in the UK, you’ve taken possession of your new home, unpacked some of your cases, survived the first week in your new job... but that’s not the end of the story...

Settling-In Support provides further, much appreciated support that saves you or your transferees’ time and reduces their stress and anxiety. It is usually provided as an add-on to home finding, to help transferees and their families get established in the new location.

The service extends for a 60-day period helping Transferees navigate the issues that arise in any new assignment including council tax registration, driver's licence, shopping fundamentals, medical facility options, recreational activities, local law enforcement and registration obligations.

At the outset, we confer with the transferee to find out what issues are of particular importance to them. The program covers such issues as:

• Opening bank accounts
  
  
• National Insurance number
  
  
• Driving licence
  
  
• Help with arranging car rental/leasing/purchase
  
  
• Advice with signing up for local health services (e.g. doctors and dentists etc)
  
  
• Information about local places of worship, sports/leisure (gym membership), local shops/markets
  
  
• Availability to answer questions regarding local services
