Employee Relocation as an industry is represented by the Employee Relocation Council (Worldwide ERC®), the world’s premier membership association of over 13,000 relocation professionals around the globe.

Employee Relocation Council was founded in 1964 to help members overcome the myriad challenges that have to be negotiated when relocating Employees domestically and internationally.

Employee Relocation Council’s members come from many disciplines -- HR; recruiting, government; military; real estate; financial services; moving; counselling; consulting; and many more!.

Saunders 1865 have been proud members and supporters of Worldwide ERC® for more than 20 years.  When we first joined this employee relocation organization, its membership was almost entirely based in the USA.  Saunders 1865 was one of the few international members at that time.  The Employee Relocation Council has come a long way since then!

In 2003 Saunders 1865’s CEO, Tony Coe, was honoured to be the first non-USA member of Worldwide ERC® to be appointed to the Board of Directors of the Employee Relocation Council.  Tony’s role was to provide leadership in terms of making the employee relocation council into a truly global organization.

Today the Employee Relocation Council is known as Worldwide ERC® to recognize the organization’s truly global reach.
