Attention Employers! When exercising break clauses in Tenancy Agreements/leases, make sure you do so STRICTLY in accordance with the contract.

The formal notice needs to be correctly served or it may not be effective. This involves READING THE ENTIRE AGREEMENT. Sorry to shout, but I’ve seen so many cases where our client has not served a proper notice, which can end up costing the company a lot of money!
